The Event Recap
A few weekends ago, I had so much fun co-hosting a social media event with Igor M Salon and his team! We thought of the idea back in June when I first met Igor at the Grand Opening of his Salon. For this event, we wanted to bring in local Westchester women to tour the salon, see hair demos and learn helpful tips on styles. The first hair demo done by Igor, he showed us how to create the perfect blowout. The second hair demo was done by Sigrid, who has been a hair stylist for over 20 years, she showed us how to style our hair with little time and low heat.
I really loved meeting new people and seeing my friends all in one place! We ate Sushi and sipped on some Wine and Rose. In between the hair demos we played hair trivia games ( I scored 6 on both games), the two winners went home with an extra goodie bag and a certificate for cut, hair color and style! The Story Behind The Salon
Igor grew up in Queens, NY and in senior year of High School decided to pursue his passion to become a hairstylist. He started working at the legendary Luis Licari Salon. During his time there he worked alongside Mr.Licari and was part of ABC ambush makeover! After 13 years of honing his talent and developing his technique, Igor decided it was time to open his very own hair salon in White Plains, NY! He has an amazing team who bring their passion and talents and are dedicated in making Igor M Salon one of the best salons in Westchester!
