When I first started blogging years ago, it seemed like I was the only blogger in Westchester. Most of the bloggers and events were always a long train ride into the city. Don’t get me wrong, I love the city but I wanted to be part of something local. In February of 2019 that changed, I went to my first Galentines lunch at Fig & Olive. I was so excited to finally meet other local bloggers!!!
After that event, I’ve met so many amazing, beautiful and talented women in my community. These women not only have a social media following but also a blog! So, whether you are into fashion, beauty, or looking for your next adventure… Below is a list of Westchester bloggers you must know about!
Sheila | Glambyshey
Hello and thank you for being here!! I would like to start by introducing my blog Glambyshey. I started blogging in March of 2014 as a way to share my reviews for beauty products. After a period of time, my blog evolved, I now write about Fashion, styling tips and share my Garconne style. Additionally, I also cover beauty and wellness events in Westchester! Neelab | Pearlsandplaces
Following the Westchester Bloggers to know list is Neelab. She and I were Insta friends before meeting in person on Galentines Day. From that day forward, we have become great friends ! She is super outgoing, adventures and always makes me laugh! Her blog is Pearlsandplaces which she launched in 2016, as a way to inspire herself and other women. She writes about fashion, fitness, travel and health. This year she launched her online boutique called Spotted Rose Boutique. Neelab works as a Marketing assistant for Thirstynest.
Jenna Nedwick |Jennaafromtheblog
I met Jenna at an Eliptica workout event hosted by Simone. Her blog Jennaafromtheblog, showcases her fabulous Fashion style, beauty and travel tips! She is super thoughtful and caring! Jenna lives with her husband in Tuckahoe. And works as an Assistant Global Marketing Manager at Kiss Products, Inc.
Simone| Simplybysimone
Simone invited me for an elíptica workout, which was the first time I met her! Her blog’s name is SimplybySimone which she started in May, 2014. It’s a lifestyle blog where she focuses on style and beauty. Plus, she has an awesome newsletter that show you how to start blogging. Simone lives in Eastchester, NY with her husband and works as a blogger full time.
Jackie Giardina | Living After Midnite
I can’t recall when I first met Jackie but once you meet her, you can never forget her contagious smile! In her blog Living After Midnite which she started in 2010 she shares her favorite ways to stand out! Whether it’s with a crazy pair of shoes, eye-catching nail art, bold new lipstick or even home decor. You will find lots of inspiration in her content!
Johanna Riehm | Mama Naturelle
I first met Johanna at a blogger Brunch in March of 2019. She is even more stunning in person and so nice! Johanna’s blog called Mama Naturelle is a resource for women and moms. Contained in it are posts about motherhood and pregnancy. However, she also writes about Fashion, Beauty and Wellness. She was born in France but grew up living the bohemian life in the Island of Saint Martin (how cool is that!). Johanna lives in a Rivertown with her husband and their two beautiful boys!
Erin Baker |Emma Westchester
Emma Westchester was the first blog I came across back when I first started blogging. I googled bloggers in Westchester and this blog came up. Once I met Erin, the co-creator of the blog, she explained that “Emma” is the name she and her co-writer came up with for the blog. They write for women who enjoy eating, shopping and fun activities in Westchester. Erin is generous, kind and an amazing mom and loves to give back to her community. She always knows about the newest restaurants and events going on in Westchester!
Diane Pisera | Simply Signorina
I first met Diane at an event I hosted in September of 2019, she is such a sweet person and so easy to talk to. Diane started her blog Simply Signorina in Spring of 2019. She was born in Italy and moved to the states at the age of 9. In her blog she shares about her Italian heritage. She shares food recipes, outfits and her amazing trips to Italy. She lives in Hawthorne, NY and works in marketing for Conair.
Nicole Vitale |As Seen On Nicole
I met Nicole at another blogger event and we have stayed connected through social media. She is very kind and super relatable. Nicole started her blog Vitalnicole in August of 2019. She has recently changed the name to As Seen On Nicole. On her blog she shares her outfits, holiday gift guides and beauty deals.
Jackie | Hudson Valley Explored
Jackie was born and raised in Bronx, NY. But according to her about page, she has the best memories visiting the Hudson Valley. I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting her in person but I’m hoping we will meet soon!! In 2016 she created a blog called Hudson Valley Explored. A blog dedicated to help you find your next adventure in the Hudson Valley. Jackie lives in Ulster County with her husband and 2 dogs.
Marissa | Donuts At The Disco
I can’t recall when I first met Marissa, yet whenever I see her… she is always smiling and happy! Marisa is a mom, a blogger and a corporate lawyer! She started her blog Donuts At The Disco in 2018. And she gives you family insights, like fun places your kids will enjoy to explore and eat at. She not only explores Westchester but also NYC and Connecticut. Her blog as she puts it is “ A blog for folks who like to get out and do stuff. Marisa lives in Connecticut with her husband and their two lovely daughters.
Leticia | Ahead Of The Trend
I first met Leticia at a fun event she co-hosted last year at La Provence restaurant. She has an amazing personality and she exudes energy that attracts others! Leticia created Ahead of the Trend in 2020, as a way to discover all the best, trendiest things that Westchester County has to offer. She is rebranding and hopes to unveil the final look and name this fall!
Lelia Jimenez | How Many Hatz
I had the pleasure of meeting Lelia last year at a blogger event, she is super friendly! Lelia is a mother, a life coach and blogger. In her blog How Many Hatz which she started in 2019, she shares self-care tips, goal setting. Her content helps mothers find balance in being a mom and still going after their dreams! Check her out for some motivation, inspiration and awesome mom life reels!
Joni | Sweat. Lift. Eat
Last but not least Joni, I remember meeting her before she started her blog Sweat. Lift. Eat. She published it at the end of 2020 and it will take you along in her weight loss journey. She shares her meal prep ideas, working out post Covid. But to Joni as she describes it, her journey is not only about weight loss… but also a journey of strength, physical and mental strength. It’s encouraging to see her fitness transformation so far!
